October 25: St. Mary’s Teen Group

The Teen Group will have their first meeting this Fall on Oct 25. The Teen Group is open to all teens of the parish from 13 to 18 years old (high school senior). Please note this is a week later than the normally scheduled meeting. More details to come.

November 6: Men’s Night Sponsored by the Holy Name Society

November’s Men’s Night will be on Wednesday, November 6th instead of its normal meeting day. This is due to Father being out of town. St. Mary’s Men’s Night is open to all men of the parish over 18. It will begin at 7:00pm with Holy Hour in the main church and will follow with dinner, drinks, fellowship, and a talk by Fr. Gismondi downstairs.

November 1: All Saints’ Day

The Feast of All Saints is Friday, November 1st. It is a holy day of obligation. The schedule is as follows:

7:00am– Low Mass

12:05pm– Low Mass

6:30pm– Sung Mass

November 2: All Souls Day

All Souls’ Day is Saturday, November 2nd. The schedule at St. Mary will be:

7:15am—Low Mass

8:00-9:00am– Adoration Canceled

9:00am—Sung Mass with absolution over the catafalque

Please note: On All Souls Day every priest traditionally offers three Masses. Morning adoration (8-9am) is canceled. During that time there will be Masses offered on the main and side altars. You are welcome to be present for these Masses, however communion will only be distributed during the 7:15am, and the 9:00am Masses.

November 23: Rummage Sale

The schedule for the rummage sale is as follows: Donation drop off: • Sunday, November 17 - after all Masses until 3pm. • Monday, November 18 -11am - 5pm Donations of clothing and accessories, adult and children; jewelry; household items including dishes, glasses, etc.; decorative items; books; toys; and linens will be accepted. All must be clean and in usable condition. NO electronics. NO furniture. Donations are to be dropped off by the stage area in the basement. November 23: Craft Sale

Along with the rummage sale, St Mary may also have a craft sale! This would be open to registered parishioners only. Those who are interested in selling their craft/product at the rummage sale, please contact Debbie Treacy at: dtreacy7@yahoo.com

January 24-26: Women’s Retreat at Malvern

February 7-9: Men’s Retreat at Malvern

Last winter, The Holy Name Society of St. Mary’s organized a men's retreat at Malvern Retreat House. Over 70 men participated, and all found it to be spiritually uplifting. In 2025 the Holy Name Society, in conjunction with the Confraternity of Christian Mothers, are planning both a men’s and women’s retreat. It will remain as a weekend retreat with arrival on Friday evening and departure Sunday morning with an outside FSSP priest as the retreat master. The retreats are still in the planning phase. There are about 70 rooms for the women’s retreat and 140 rooms for the men’s retreat. The cost is expected to remain the same at $325. Please do NOT contact Malvern Retreat House to register. All registration has to be done through St. Mary’s Holy Name Society and the Confraternity of Christian Mothers. Registration is expected to begin in late August. More details to come.
